Mr. Palmer has approved of the FBLA and DECA Clubs to attend the Sports Career Day with the Washington Wizards on Friday, Dec. 7.  Students will hear motivational speakers, attend a College Fair, experience a marketing exercise and observe a game between the Washington Wizards and Phoenix Suns. 

This will be Bluestone's first year of attending this event.  Can you tell, I'm excited!!

My daughter attends Central Middle School in Charlotte County.  Her team played Bluestone Middle this week.  As I walked towards the gym, parents and teachers asked me "who are you cheering for today?"  Of course I thought the correct answer would be..... I'm cheering for both teams.  As they started to play and the game started to get really tight, I found myself cheering for my daughter's team (The Bobcats).  I tried to check myself, but I was too far gone. 

My daughter's team won the game and is currently undefeated!

Join us at Bluestone High for Homecoming on October 19 @ 7:30; we will be playing Nottoway.

Hi! My name is Karen Osborne and this year I will be teaching Computer Solutions @ Bluestone Middle and CIS, Advanced CIS, Keyboarding Applications and Personal Finances/Business Administration @ Bluestone High School. I am also an Advisor for FBLA and SODA Club. I am the assistant Track Coach for girls and boys track. Yes, I have a full plate... but it's nothing that the CTE Teacher of the Year can't handle!! :o)
