Bluestone High School Culinary Students Earn ServeSafe Certifications

Pictured here are culinary students from Bluestone High School who successfully completed the ServSafe Certification Exam. The ServSafe Training and Certification Program provides students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities they need to keep food safe. The students have studied several safety concepts ranging from the basics of handwashing to more complex topics such as foodborne pathogens. The 5-year certification is recognized by the National Restaurant Association and is taught at Bluestone by Tammy Hurt, Family and Consumer Sciences teacher.
